President and FounderJerry Gerard President and Founder of A.C.T. since 1994, with over 25 years experience in the PCB industry as a Marketing Manager. Jerry is a graduated Tool & Die Maker and Associate Business Manager. Formerly a Licensed NASD Member and Financial Planner.
Executive V.P. of Business OperationsSharlene Edlin Executive V.P. of Business Operations & Partner has spent over 17 years in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, with related experience in Engineering and Quality Assurance for domestic and over seas Procurement. Sharlene has spent 16 years with ACT, developing Customer Kan Ban Inventory and VMI programs through an MRP Interface System. She has implemented a MAS 200 Software System that provides the interface of information through all departments, and most importantly accomplished the companies ISO9001 certification.
VP of Global OperationsJack Gemmell joined A.C.T. in 2006 and currently holds the title VP of Global Operations. He manages all aspects of the organization; domestic and international operations, logistics and accounting departments. Performs financial reporting and analyze budget and sales forecasting models. He negotiates contracts both with customers and vendors. Designed operational procedures and best practices to remain compliant with our ISO certification. Also, serves as the plan administrator for the company's 401k retirement fund. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
Quality Technical Operations ManagerPatrick Higgins, as Quality Technical Manager, has over 30 years' experience in PCB manufacturing, quality and process engineering. He joined the Company in 2010. His expertise includes quality systems, process control, PCB acceptability and failure analysis. He has specialized training in six sigma problem solving tools, root cause analysis and corrective action and ISO 9000 implementation and auditing.
Sales Executive/Quality EngineerArturo Santillana has worked with A.C.T. as Sales Executive/Quality Engineer since 2002. He has over 30 years' experience in printed circuit boards; manufacturing operations, sales & marketing, production engineering, quality process control and on site quality/engineering field technical support. His areas of expertise in Printed Circuit Boards to include problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective action implementation and verification. Arturo is also an accomplished ISO9001 internal auditor and a Certified IPC Trainer (IPC-A-600).
Director of Asian OperationsBrooke Cheng, Director of Asian Operations, has worked with the Company since 2000. He is directly responsible for maintaining direct relationships with PCB manufacturing plants owners. Brooke also manages our Asian staff at each plant location. He is fluent in Mandarin and English and holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Chung Yuan University.
